Feature Requests

Experience: the current icon used for Terminals is a bus gives the impression of a vehicle or vehicle type not a terminal. --- Feature request: use the current Terminals icon which looks like a bus for (Vehicles) change the current Terminals icon to a location icon (like this svg here: https://www.svgrepo.com/svg/509148/location-pin )

Experience: I was testing the experience of an FRM using the Sampling Progress page, and I believe we need to be able to clearly see all routes/trips' progress in one page and not have to switch between pages. dividing the rows into multiple pages can be helpful for taking screenshots, but won't be easy to understanding where we are at during the FR. p.s. it's a similar experience for all tables (e.g. Network Model's Terminals and Routes, Onboard Surveys) but I believe this one is the most important. --- Feature request: If you believe it's best to keep the table page division, then we can add the option to have a one-pager with a scroll bar, otherwise we can replace the page division option with the one-pager scroll bar.

Experience: when testing the filtration of Origins/Destinations in the Onboard Surveys table, I realized that we don't have a check box of (Select All) that we can check and uncheck for easier filtration that we're used to seeing in software like MS Excel. terminal names are not alphabetically ordered and seem to be ordered by date created (like the default order in Network Model --> Terminals) p.s. it's great that we have the option to search terminals in the filter list --- Feature request: add a (Select All) check box either have the list of Origins/Destinations alphabetically ordered by default, or have the option to select (Sort A -> Z) and (Sort Z -> A) as we're used to seeing in software like MS Excel

Experience: The filter vs. field names is a bit confusing, because we have: field "Status" -> includes 3 groups (Status/Validation/Processing) with their subgroups filter "Status" -> Completed - Aborted - Abandoned in the older RL it was practical to have fields/filter that differentiated between the survey status (FR - what's happening on the field) and review (Data lab - what we did with the the data) --- Feature change request: A. table fields 1. field "Status" to show only (Completed - Aborted - Abandoned...etc.) 2. field "Validation" to show (Accepted - Rejected - Pending...etc.) 3. (maybe) field "Processing" to show (Processed...etc.) B. filter options: to follow the new table fields

Experience: when I was checking the vehicle occupancy I realized the vehicle occupancy at trip start isn't at the same horizontal line as the boarded bar. It looked like an error but then I realized the differences in scale between the Passengers and Occupancy y-axes which was not intuitive to me as a user and difficult to get insights from at first glance. --- Feature change request: make the two y-axes follow the same scale. maybe there wouldn't be a need to have a y-axis named Occupancy and just keep the left y-axis for the Passengers. that way we can focus on the no. of passengers from the y-axis name + the color codes, and the vehicle occupancy line (total no. of passengers) would be be self-explanatory.

Experience: while checking the Routes and Terminals for a project in the Network Model, I realized that the map only shows the terminals/routes in the menu to the left which is a maximum of 10 rows. I think showing all routes in one map may be overwhelming, but for terminals I believe it's practical to be able to see all of them in one map. --- Feature change request: I think dividing the routes/terminals on 10-row menu pages is ok, but maybe give the option of (show all) for both Terminals and Routes which does: give the user the option to scroll through all the available terminals/routes shows all the available terminals/routes on the map

Experience: when I was adding a Frequency Module there was an option to set the default survey duration which I set to 60 minutes, then I thought about the possibility of changing the duration after discussions with the team but I couldn't find a tool to change it either in "Project Modules" menu or the "Module Settings". Feature change: It would be practical to have this option back as in the older RL, possibly in "Module Settings" --> "Frequency" tab --> "Frequency Sampling Targets" table --> a new field for the "Survey Duration"

Experience: I wanted to change the Status for the terminals I added from "Unconfirmed" to "Tentative" or "Confirmed" and my first instinct was to click on the red box with "(x) Unconfirmed" but nothing popped up so I clicked again and thought there was an error. then I thought maybe click on the three dots next to it and so I clicked on the only option available in the menu which is "Edit" and here I could find the option to change the status. I don't know if this was intentional to avoid having human errors of changing the terminals' status by mistake, but as I user I was a bit confused and felt the UI was not very intuitive in this part. Feature changes: I believe an easier UI would be: click on the "(x) Unconfirmed", show a list of the 3 status options, click on the one you want. maybe to avoid possible human errors of changing a confirmed terminal to unconfirmed during FR which may cause errors in the surveys, we can have a message that pops up when the user ties to change a confirmed terminal to another status that says "are you sure you want to invalidate this terminal?". then we may want to revise our logic for other possibilities/conditions of changing terminal status and their effects on the FR and the UI/UX.

as an "Admin" I couldn't create a new project, which makes sense, however: 1- I was allowed to change the Organization Name in Settings. I suggest not giving this permission to "Admin" or anyone except the "Owner". 2- in Team Members I found a list for the Role of the "Owner", and I tested changing it to "Admin" to see what happens and it didn't work, but it makes more sense not to show the list of Roles for the "Owner" as it gives the illusion that any role can change that of the "Owner". 3- same with inviting members, it makes sense not to show the option of "Owner" in the list because an "Admin" or any other role shouldn't be able to add an "Owner".
